Why Coca-Cola Gets Me Excited about God’s Mission

It never failed. During my time overseas in China, I could travel to the most distant, far-flung village imaginable—some remote place all but cut off from civilization—and find a small hole-in-the-wall shop that sold Coca-Cola.

Just think of it—American sugar water has made its way all the way to the ends of the earth.

And yet even more stunning than that is the reality that the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ—the true Living Water—has made its way all over the globe, again and again.

Unlike sweet carbonated water which tickles tummies, Christ satisfies souls. And King Jesus will not stop expanding his kingdom until his glory fills the whole earth.

This truth about Christ’s unrelenting rule and reign should encourage your heart today.

• Never stop sharing the gospel with those around you.

• Never stop praying for those you share with.

• Never stop being a witness for Christ.

Your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
